Economic Research

• Conduct the whole cycle and process of economic research in order to produce and publish economic reports and informative bulletin pages and briefers
• Process and analyze data relevant for insightful research
• Prepare other studies and reports as required

Information Security

• Senior management assigns the coordination of information security activities to certain employees acting as Information security champions/ representatives/coordinators across all divisions
• The entity assigns all employees responsible for adhering to the information security policies/processes/program and for reporting any security breaches or incidents to their direct management

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction

Reporting

• Prepare departmental/ sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet Dubai requirements, policies and quality standards

Others

• Other relevant tasks of the job purpose when, and if required

Minimum Qualification

Master’s Degree in Economics and/or Business studies

Minimum Experience and Skills

• Minimum 5 – year experience in an economic research institution in the same position
• Knowledge of understanding Chamber services
• Knowledge of economic and business issues in the region and internally
• Expertise in research techniques and data management techniques
• Previous experience of managing research projects
• High command of English (Reading, Spoken, and Written) Arabic is preferable and or an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office
