Dubai Family Business Management Programme

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE, the Dubai Centre for Family Businesses is launching the Dubai Family Business Management Programme.

Developed in affiliation with a globally renowned educational institution, the programme targets the second tier of succession in the leadership of Dubai-based family businesses who are committed to successfully achieving continuity across generations. The primary objective is to equip the next generation of owners with the specialised knowledge and unique leadership skills necessary to lead a family business effectively.

Key Objectives:

• Enhancing governance and sustainability systems for family businesses
• Developing strategies and investments related to the movement of global trade
• Educating family businesses on local and international laws and legislation
• Promoting a culture of social responsibility among family businesses
• Building a local and international network of leaders, businesspeople, and organisations
• Developing and providing tools and training to enhance media presence
• Preparing a new generation of family business leaders

To be considered for participation, applicants should:

• Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience and be actively engaged in a family business
• Be at least 30 years of age
• Have a strategic future vision they wish to achieve
• Be decision-makers who play a key role in setting the strategic direction of their businesses
• Be leaders of successful teams
