This workshop will address critical concerns about the future of data privacy and protection, especially in light of the rapid progress of AI and related technologies and will highlight the ongoing global landscape concerning the evolution of AI and its implications for individuals’ personal data. It will also encompass an examination of the contemporary cases involving AI and data breaches.

Furthermore, the session will establish a connection to the data protection laws and AI developments within the UAE, exploring the current state of the country’s approach. It will also explore potential future perspectives and strategies for aligning UAE’s legal framework with the swiftly evolving AI landscape. The event aims to provide forwardlooking recommendations and strategies to ensure a secure data protection system that is synchronized with the dynamic advancements in the field of AI.
