About the Event
As Dubai goes from strength to strength as a commercial regional hub, there is an increasing need to document agreements and negotiations in the form of a contract. This workshop examines key issues of contracts in the context of doing business in Dubai. It will also review important aspects of contracts and use practical examples and case studies throughout, highlighting key provisions used in contracts.

Gerry Rogers
Partner - Habib Al Mulla & Partners
Gerry's experience encompasses the corporate, commercial, real estate and projects sectors in the UAE. He advises on a wide range of corporate aspects relevant to the UAE and its jurisdictions, including funds, acquisitions, structuring of entry into the UAE and other regulatory matters relating to the
activities of UAE entities. On the commercial side, Gerry has prepared many forms of commercial documentation, and regularly advises on arrangements such as joint ventures and commercial agencies. In addition, he has a broad knowledge of energy and infrastructure, having been a chemical engineer
prior to his career in law.

Omar El Gazairly
Associate - Habib Al Mulla & Partners
Omar has spent considerable time in the legal domain,
particularly within the spheres of corporate and commercial
law. He familiarized himself with various legal systems,
including both civil and common law jurisdictions. His
experiences have allowed him to navigate the complexities of inheritance disputes, especially those concerning family businesses. Omar has had the opportunity to work with family businesses on matters like succession planning, corporate
governance, and compliance.
