Dubai, UAE: The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced that it will be supporting the Dubai Fitness Challenge, a city initiative of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Dubai Government.

The city-wide event will engage all segments of society, including government entities, businesses, schools, and residents, with the aim of making Dubai the most active city in the world.

This challenge is designed to motivate residents of all ages to adopt a healthier lifestyle by allocating at least 30 minutes a day for exercise over a 30-day period, which will run from October 20th to November 18th, 2017, and include fitness classes, activities, and events that will be free and open to registered participants.

The announcement was made during a staff gathering event hosted by the Chamber, which was attended by Jessie Ng, Group Director – Live Events, Brand Experience & Creative Strategy at DXB LIVE, the experiential agency of Dubai World Trade Centre.
