Dubai, UAE: The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently organised its 2017 Knowledge Camp which aimed to increase employee engagement and happiness throughout the organisation.
The week-long event featured a variety of informative lectures, workshops and team-building activities hosted at the Chamber’s premises designed to enhance employees’ knowledge and skills sets in a fun and innovative way.
More than 17 workshops were held throughout the week covering a wide range of topics, including the UAE’s Year of Giving, Dubai Smart City, the Dubai 10X initiative, and happiness and positivity, in addition to yoga, pottery, and boxing classes.
Essa Al Zaabi, Senior Vice President – Institutional Support Sector at Dubai Chamber, said: “By hosting this unique event at the Chamber, we aim to instil a culture of knowledge among employees and increase happiness in line with the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.”
He explained the activities offered during the Knowledge Camp provided an innovative and effective approach to harnessing talent and developing skill sets, adding that such initiatives ultimately enhance the Chamber’s competitiveness.
