Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry cordially invites you to attend the third Economic Seminar for 2010. The Seminar will present the following three important topics:
“Export Patterns During the Crisis”, which will compare export patterns of Dubai Chamber’s members whose exports continued to increase despite the economic crisis that exerted significant dampening effect on global trade. It will compare as well the export markets that had grown in 2009 with those that seemed to have been negatively affected by the crisis. The presentation will also reveal important factors that were found to have differentiated the sets of those exporters.
“The Role of the UAE Financial Sector in Supporting Economic Recovery”, this presentation will address two important issues and these are namely how robust is the UAE financial sector after the crisis and how supportive is the UAE financial sector for the economic growth post the crisis.
“How Robust is the UAE Real Estate Market after the Crisis?” which will examine the fundamental changing dynamics of Dubai’s real estate sector on the back of the challenging economic environment. It will highlight the factors that determine real estate sector prices through the new demand-side and supply-side dynamics on the back of crisis when credit markets dried up and aggregate demand weakened. Then, the presentation will draw some policy recommendations stemming from the real estate sector for a return to a stable growth trajectory going forward.
